So that you have enough time to fill out a New Patient form, please arrive about 10 minutes early for your first appointment. You also have the option to fill out the form online in advance through the link below.
Initial Examination
Dr. Maier will take the time to review your medical and dental history before completing a comprehensive dental exam. Your exam will include a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any x-rays that may be required.
Treatment Plan
Based on your dental history and examination, our dentists will develop a personalized long-term dental treatment plan to help you achieve and maintain optimal oral health. We will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about your dental health and available treatment options.

To book an appointment at Canmore Dental Centre, please contact our office during our regular business hours.
- How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. Please let us know about any change of plans as soon as you are able to, so we can offer the space in our schedule to another patient.
- Do you offer appointment reminders?
In the days leading up to your appointment, you will receive automated phone, text or email appointment reminders from us. If you find that you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to let us know.
- Do you provide services in any languages other than English?
Yes, our office is able to provide dental services in German as well as English.
If you have a language preference, please advise let us know when booking your appointment.
- Does your office have on-site parking?
Yes, we have free on-site parking available for all our patients. We are also easily accessible by public transit.
Insurance & Payment Options

For your convenience, we can submit your insurance claim electronically, resulting in faster reimbursement, without the need for paper forms and signatures.
Our administrative team can assist you in understanding your insurance plan better and can also send estimates to your insurance company prior to starting any major treatments.
Please bring your insurance plan information to your appointment.
- Payment Methods
Payment is due in full at time of appointment. We accept payment by debit or most major credit cards.
